Winterlandís Gone

Music and Lyric by Dennis Davison

Snow falls and covers us, a cold dust of magic

Wind chimes are rattling in no particular time

Chilled bones and memories will beg for a thawing

Sleigh bells, rusted, jingling in your mind

On the edge of a frozen wishing well where the reflectionís always the same.

Day breaks ahead of time and night clocks in early

Shadows are galloping where crystal angels reside

Stiff limbs are snapping off with each wailing whistle

Nowhere from the biting winds can they hide

Winterlandís Gone, Long Long Gone

Cold winds blow ice and snow through nostalgic minds

Winterland, hand in hand, frozen still in time.

On the edge of a frozen wishing well where the reflectionís always the same.

Snow melts and washes us, a cool seasonís bathing

Wind chimes are shimmering in very definite time

Chilled bones and memories are in for a thawing

Sleigh bells, rusted, jingling in your mind

Winterlandís Gone, Long Long Gone
