An Australian video director named Aldofz has created a music video for The Jigsaw Seen's version of "Baby Elephant Walk" and posted it on You Tube. The clip looks fantastic, with a Pink Floyd meets National Geographic quality that the band is extremely impressed with.

Candy Cane (rough mix) December 08, 2007 To celebrate the holiday season, The Jigsaw Seen have posted a rough mix of their x-mas song “Candy Cane” on their Myspace page. The song was written by bandmembers Dennis Davison and Jonathan Lea in 1993 and has been performed at their x-mas shows ever since. The band recently decided to include it on their forthcoming album and have been working on it over the past few weeks at David Nolte’s home studio. The track will be given a final mix in January. The film, featuring appearances by Al Gore, Sarah Silverman, Coolio and Mark Hamill in addition to the TV cast, will be released on DVD by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment on Nov. 27. The DVD is expected to be a huge seller this holiday season and has been ranked among Amazon’s Top 100 best-selling DVDs for the past 2 months based on it’s pre-order sales. The Jigsaw Seen will perform at Taix in Los Angeles on Thursday, February 22 at 10 PM, admission is free.
Joining Dennis Davison and Jonathan Lea will be Tom Currier on bass (playing his first TJS show in 12 years) and guest drummer Joe Berardi.
The band will play songs from their forthcoming album in addition to songs from their Grammy nominated LP "Zenith" and their "Children Of Nuggets" classic "My Name Is Tom".

The Jigsaw Seen "What About Christmas?" (Vibro-phonic)
The Jigsaw Seen, a daring power pop combo from L.A., take a tentative step towards holiday hi-jinks with this five song EP featuring two versions of the original title tune (one electric, one acoustic) and three live tracks recorded in a noisy nightclub in West Hollywood. Aside from its title, “What About Christmas” seems, on first hearing, to bear little relation to seasonal celebration -– it boasts a dense, urgent melody with more than a hint of psychedelic undertow. An instrumental take on “Sleigh Ride” done surf style adds a nice touch of novelty, while a more somber “Jesus” reinforces their spiritual side. Nevertheless, the most poignant entry comes in the form of a tasteful re-do of “First of May,” an early, though obscure, Bee Gees number that ranks among the most beautiful songs in the Brothers Gibb catalog, further proof of The Jigsaw Seen’s penchant for choosing creative covers.

The Jigsaw Seen "My Name Is Tom" (Vibro-phonic)
It was necessary to try very well that such remarkable band, which has released the first single in the end of the '80, remained unknown for a lerge amount of the listenners till now.
This disk is a reprint of EP of the 1991 "My Name Is Tom", plus five more bonus tracks. The best gift for the fan of garage rock and a psychedelia you can't find! 1991! Kurt Cobain sang to us about his unfortunate life, Biafra recorded the album with Nomeansno, wizards the Pixies have released "Trompe Le Monde", and at this time guys from The Jigsaw Seen have made a fantastic travel in time, having recreated not only a sound, but also spirit of the '60.
Classical for psychedelia elements of the east (guitar solo, the drums reminding tambourins, melodic), real melodies (beautiful and remembered not because of their three accords) and fine voices... And all is given with decent drive - garage moments sometimes turn almost into the real punk - rock ("Persephone Again").
I want to notice surf "Murder At The Luau" - here are the bonuses come - taking into account The Jigsaw Seen's love to clear guitars (melancholic "I'm So Happy Today"), it is necessary make an analogy with the Pixies... The Answer to the Rolling Stones - "Off Track" - the question is, certainly, about Rolling Stones in the period of "Beggars Banquet"... Garage horror "Eight Lancashire Lads" would honour any band from the Crypt Records. The disk however is ended with gloomy and grandiose "The Best Is Yet To Come".
It seems, that the dot in the album was put very early.
P.S.: fans of Love will find very pleasant gift on this disk.
